Saian FaceFytSaian FaceFyt Microcurrent Facial Toning Device Specs & Reviews
Microcurrent treatments have been growing in popularity to treat signs of aging. With the continuous advances of technology, we are blessed with a plethora of microcurrent devices to choose from. Saian Skin care has been around since 2006, delivering quality skincare products. It wasn't until 2023 that they released the Saian FaceFyt, their version of an at-home microcurrent device. Let's see how it compares to other devices like NuFace and Ziip, which have been on the market longer.
What is a Saian FaceFyt Microcurrent Device?
Saian FaceFyt is a unique microcurrent device that uses microcurrent and EMS, low voltage pulsating electrical currents to boost ATP production, stimulate facial muscles, and help reduce skin laxity. It is designed with eight levels of microcurrent pulses to contour the face.
The microcurrent treatment is designed to mirror the ionic flow of our body's natural electrical current and deliver an extremely low level of electricity to the skin, firming, toning, and soothing it. It stimulates the motor nerves to contract facial muscles for more defined facial features and a lifted appearance.
The EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) feature works by sending electrical impulses to facial muscles, causing them to contract and essentially "exercise," which leads to improved muscle tone, lifted contours, and a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin, ultimately creating a more youthful appearance; this process also stimulates collagen production, further enhancing skin elasticity.
Key Features
- Provides adjustable output of microcurrent with eight levels ranging from 150μA to 670μA
- Has two modes, microcurrent and EMS (electrical muscle stimulation)
- Designed for professional and home esthetic use
- Customizable treatment
- Dual probes designed to contour faces of various shapes and sizes.
Benefits of Saian FaceFyt
- Stimulates facial muscles to improve skin firmness
- Boosts ATP production
- Enhances penetration of anti-aging and moisturizing products
How To Use
Like any other microcurrent device, using a conductive gel is necessary for optimal results. Without the gel, the device will not glide smoothly and you will feel a tingly sensation which isn't the most comfortable. Consistency is also key to get the most out of your skin care treatment.
Preparation
- Cleanse Your Skin:
- Wash your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, oil, and debris.
- Pat your skin dry.
- Apply Conductive Gel:
- Spread a thin, even layer of a conductive gel or serum (preferably a peptide conductive gel or one with active ingredients) over the areas you'll treat. This prevents discomfort and allows the microcurrent to flow effectively.
- Prepare the Device:
- Turn on the microcurrent device and select the appropriate intensity level. Start with the lowest setting if you're new to the treatment.
Treatment
- Forehead:
- Place the device at the center of your forehead near your eyebrows.
- Slowly glide it upwards toward your hairline.
- Repeat 3–5 times, covering the entire forehead.
- Eyebrow Area:
- Place the device at the inner corner of your eyebrow.
- Glide it outward along the brow bone.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Cheekbones:
- Start at the base of your cheekbone near the nose.
- Glide the device upwards toward your temple in a lifting motion.
- Repeat 3–5 times on each side.
- Jawline:
- Place the device at the center of your chin.
- Glide it along your jawline toward the ear.
- Repeat on both sides.
- Neck:
- Start at the base of your neck and glide the device upward toward the jawline.
- Avoid the center of your neck (over the throat area).
- Repeat on both sides.
