2. Mix the tint: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to mix the tint. 
3. Apply the tint: Use a tint brush or applicator to apply the tint as close to the lash line as possible and move toward the tips. 
4. Let it sit: Leave the tint on for the time recommended in the product instructions. 
5. Remove the tint: Use a damp cotton pad or clean spoolie brush to remove the tint.

Waterproof mascara is also not recommended, as it requires harsh removers that can strip the tint.
